  1. Maybe she wasn’t interested in the bag, but rather distracting him from the bag. Look at her foot … maybe a little flirting going on? … and what about that enigmatic smile 😉

    • There’s a thought. I did notice her foot and thought how sweet it was. They were married in 1926 when she was 18. My grandad died in 1973 and my gran in 2006. I don’t think she ever stopped missing him.

    • I think my dad had one like that too when he worked in the dockyard. Lunch? Change of clothes for the end of the day? Must ask him.
