I found the boy-child's first "hard shoes" - Clarks T-bars, from a shop in Bedford. Bought almost 15 years ago. Photo: Su Leslie 2014.

    • Don’t they just? Alongside the little shoes, I found his next pair – boots bought about two months after the first shoes. And it’s just the same now – he and his feet are elongating almost visably it seems. I’ve now officially become “little mummy” – said with the most wicked grin!

    • Oh my! I can almost imagine the boy-child’s feet getting that big. We had a family christening robe that had to be sent to NZ from Scotland for my brother’s christening. Now I’m wondering what happened to it? Hm; another family mystery to add to my list. :-)
